Couldn't you have gotten a four core, eight thread i7 2600 for about the same money? Those non-overclockabe i7 office PCs are VERY accessible for cheap…
What pc are they using in this video? Can someone please tell me?
Why am i watching this i have a i5 10th gen plus a rtx 2060
nice to see that my 750ti isnt tooooooo bad
nice 🙂
lost opportunity to take it from $69 to $420
Me with an i3 4010u………
the real test would be to hop on a fiveM server and see how far u can go lol
basically, if this was half a year ago, for ultimate bang for the buck grab an optiplex with an old i5 and throw an rx 470 into it. insane performance for what used to be like 150-200$.
But can it run Unity?
No, seriously, I need to know.
You have a broom. You change the stick, then You change the brush. Is it still the same broom?
Apple be like : 1000$ stand go bbrrrrrr
The games will run pretty good if you're able to find a good cpu that comes with it. A 3rd or 4th Gen would be very much fine. A core i5 or i7 would be recommended best, there won't be much of a bottle neck if you pair it with the 750ti used. Good ram, good cpu, good gpu, decent power supply and an ssd+hdd would be a significant fix.

A time when 1050tis were $150
Imma be honest this is the exact pc I have and I'm having so many issues with making it so I can install all the drivers for this pic and graphics card but it just completely shut off and wouldn't boot so if anyone could possibly help me I'd appreciate it
Would this work on a optiplex 755?
CSGO BOTS ARE CPU HEAVY
Im doing something similar
Fun fact: 4 years ago my old PCs price was $6,942 and I now realize it was almost a meme price
Can I run GTA5 in this pc after upgrading it please tell
Why does linus look like he's 50 in the thumbnail?
Riley looks like he needs to take a major shit
Hello, i am looking to buy a GPU but, my PSU is non modular, and i don't want to upgrade the power supply to change the gpu. I am looking for a low profile gpu, any recomandations ? Thanks.
As my $1500 laptop gets the same proformance as this in cs:go
Where i can buy it ?
I’m actually surprised with this! I always expected pcs less than $400 to just be not competitive with the price to performance of a console but playing a Xbox and PlayStation standard game like rocket league at 80fps for $150 is insane!
I have a q5500 and gtx 960 2gig along with 4x2gig DDR2 ram sticks, thermaltake 750w power supply, but no motherboard or case to put them in. 🙁
People will give you a bunch of crap on Pc Master Race for making something old work. Can it do 4k with 8k upscaling? No? Pleb.
I made something similar. Spending 20-40 bucks on a core 2 quad makes a HUGE difference.
U need more than 120gb on a "gaming" pc tho, like just Gta 5 is 90gb…
He should've tape modded that Q9550 CPU.
My PC is worse than this
but does the sound would be played through the hdmi??
7:35 thank me later
2020: gtx1050 Ti ~ 300$… in my country… rofl
pc runs notepad error sorry your pc ran into a problem 🙁
Nice
I actually built a very similar pc just a little after this video came out, the main differences being I got a HP rather than a Dell Optiplex, can't remember the exact model but same type of business pc, for $90AU with an i5-2400 with 8GB DDR3 and windows 10 preinstalled, I bought a new GT-1030 for $90AU and I already had an old 250GB SSD so i just cloned over the windows 10 install to the SSD, for $180AU, probably $150USD or less, I got something that my brother can play GTA 5, Rust, and a bunch of other games at 1080p 60 pretty well.
There's always good options on going second hand, and given large companies are always going to need to upgrade too, these older machines will probably always be pretty readily available, as long as you can pair one with a decent more recent graphics card (which with the current situation in 2021 is getting a little tougher but still doable) you can easily have a good gaming experience on the cheap, and if you're one of those really persistent bargain hunters, you can get something that's actually better than average for the money, it just takes a bit of time and effort.
So – why no thermal paste for that new quad core CPU?
why not drop a Q6600 cpu in?
This makes me so sad, seeing these cards at this price. I just want a low end gpu but the world is a dark place now. FeelsBadMan
