I have a quick query, I guess Dell has now reduced some of the features of the laptop I'm planning to buy it 13 5000 series but Dell doesn't provide backlit keyboard now. For backlit keyboard I've to buy an expensive version of this 13 7000 series. 13 5000 has has a plastic body whereas 13 7000 has a metallic one. Please share your thoughts it'll be really helpful for me.. Thanks mate..

Hi Chris, quick question. I just got the newer version with the i3 without the stylus. Would you say it would be suitable for college level course work with Word, excel, ect? Also is i3 decent and can be switched out?

Hey Chris. I'm looking to buy this laptop for studying. Do you recommend it for that? How long is the battery when running low-memory programs such as Word, PowerPoint, paint.net and other educational tools and programs? Will the ventilation sound like a tornado when watching high-quality videos in 1080p or when running the programs above (or other educational tools and programs)?
Not related to the laptop itself, but would disabling the touch screen increase the battery time?

excellent review except that it runs on windows 10 and windows 10 sucks balls it won't take windows 7 pro no drivers from dell available to run 7 on it

Super disappointed with this laptop though.
Keyboard has failed on several keys within 1 year. About to take it apart. Believe it's the "Keyboard Daugher Board" aka Keyboard Junction circuit and not the actual keyboard, but I won't know until I rip it apart.
what should i buy between this serie and lenovo yoga 710? i want a laptop with long battery life , light weight and not too thick.
