I got this fan but it was refurbished, and I think it gives alot less air flow, it just can feel the air if put the hand a inch above the grid max, and can't feel no the front grid at all, is it all the airflow it does? Or I have a problem with mine?
Holy shit 12°C drop just because of this? Take all my money…
It's a bit confusing… I've ssem no big diference with or without the notepal. 149ºF without and 147º with it? Is it correct?
Ahahahahaha , are u serious cs source ? that doesn`t even uses my cpu
what should i get for my asus rog laptop cooler master notepal x3 or cooler master storm sf-17 pls help guys
Hey Elder-Geek.
I've got a MSI GS70 stealth 17.3" gaming laptop. I read that the X3 supports up to 17 inche laptops – does that mean that my laptop would slide off?
Thank you for your time.
Good review but one thing is lacking. Where is your cpu on your laptop? That's where the most heat is generated and where the fan is needed the most. Many chill mats have their fans in the center. My new MSI GT60-475 has just the single cooling fan. ) and is already chilly in the center but the left corner is extremely hot after 10 minutes of playing Crysis 3 even with my chill mat's 120mm fan blowing cool air like crazy. But the mat is too small (13" wide) for my laptop (15.8" wide) so the laptop straddles the mat. I'm looking for a bigger mat and the CMX3 looks to be a winner with its 15.7" width. But my concern still remains, will the huge 220mm fan supply enough cooling to the left corner? If it did then I would buy this mat.
How should i clean it and any tips to keep it functional?i dont wanna mess it up,its cool and the country where im from its hard to get such accesories i ordered it online…plz help.
It took me about 10 video links to get to this review! Finally a solid review of this product. Is it really that difficult to make a review?!
You're the only one giving a shit…
I clicked to see a review of a cooling pad, not a 15 second intro with a commercial to a website. Fix that.
I just bought this. Was it a good choice?
sure there is, if it's closer to the heat source it can move more air
Much better review than others i have watched
do you see the size of the fan? there is no need to configure this fan because it is huge…
I would say it's not worth it, although it has good features such as the usb ports and the fan speed potentiometer but the NotePal U2 has configurable fans that you can place right under your vents.
thinking about purchasing, does this fan sit well on your lap?
alright thanks!
definitely the x3 because it has a much better airflow than u3 about 70 cfm, a really high capacity in a relation with competitors like thermaltech
should i get this or the u3? help.
Ya.
dude 10 degrees in fahrenheit?
Is this really good? Like, will it really cool my laptop? I mean, i'm also most giving up buying laptop coolers, they all never work, doesn't even cool and they get hot themselves… I've tried nzxt cryo x60, zm-nc2000, aerocool, and some other coolers which I got really cheap (and totally don't work as well), they all don't cool at all, so what about this?
this is going to be great my laptop regularly reaches temperatures of 180degress easily!
you're only running at 70degrees and you think that's the max lol You don't even need a cooler! You should only worry about your laptop if it start getting high 70's into the 80's or more… right now my cpu is running at 57-45 degrees
Do you get an USB with the box?
yea up to 17"
will this work with an 15,6 inch laptop
boxinsideabox is right
1 question. is it safe to place laptop on there on a 16' laptop? i feel like the laptop is sliding over
ebay
Must the cooler pad`s fan be directly under my laptops air intake for it to be effective
fit this to 17.3" laptop? i neeed this or cm storm sf-19….
My laptop heats up and the performance degrades dramatically when it does. it heats up even if I am on a facebook game to the point that I get a lot of lag and the fans run loudly. (My sister did give it some miner thermal damage but performance is still excellent as long as it stays cool.) I know I will need a new comp. but do you think this pad will help to help with the temperature and performance?
I have a 17'' hp laptop. with 4GB of Ram and ATI Radeon Graphics.
I'm Italian…. where can I buy it?
Can msi gt780dxr fit with it? i want one too but i am afraid it did not fit the size of my giant laptop
all the reviews should be like this great job guys
@boxinsideabox Do you know if a place called SCAN would help me out with that? i think they are well known. If not is there anything you could recommend me getting (actual product wise). I really dont want my computer to melt itself to death :(.
@fotolabman hahhaha awesome references xD.. but this thing allegedly was released Feb. 14th 🙁 Almost a month ago
@eaglrombie13 i can only thing of two things that could get this product from the future, a delorean, or a police call box (tardis)
@fotolabman haha does that mean it's not out yet? or…..? How are all these un-boxing videos posted? Maybe available outside our planet 🙁

WHAT WEBSITE SELLS THIS?!? Seriously, I've been on google for 40 minutes looking but the X2 only comes up every time >:(
Hey Elder-Geek, is your laptop 16" horizontally or diagnally? If diagnally, could you review or suggest a really good fan for an 18" laptop?
Thanks!
Great job guys!
@Therandomer9 Have ALL the fans!!!!
@862matstar MOAR FANS!
Is there something you can add to a desktop pc to cool it down? Im getting around 80c when im playing graphic intensive games (bf3, skyrim, stuff like that). The only idea ive had up to now is to take the side off and make some holes in it. Any help?
I always love their fans. I might get this if I have the money.
