DONT WATCH THIS WORST VIDEO
Title is valid. This is my 2nd 7577 w/ i7 UHD 4k display. First one corrupted every single file after a windows update at 1 week old. Returned to Amazon for a new one and 1 week after the warranty expired literally half of the keyboard stopped working. There are videos on how to replace it which is very difficult due to the fact that the keyboard is BEHIND the motherboard. One year after the warranty expired the touch pad (described in this video as bad) no longer clicks. Three years after the purchase the laptop updated once again and now suddenly freezes after 15 minutes of use. (All troubleshooting steps, even advanced ones find nothing). The issue is unrelated to Windows as someone with a linux based operating system is having the same exact issue.)
Look up "7577 crash" on google and you'll see ZERO support from dell whatsoever with many people reporting the same problems.
This laptop has very good specs for gaming and I really love that, but the crashing and lack of Dell support is a nightmare.
This laptop is listed at $1,500 today on Amazon.

This laptop has a lot of audio stutters and thermal issues. I do not think the paste is a good quality paste and runs hot after a year. So needs to be re-pasted and then should work better. Just use a mouse for gaming which is what everyone does anyway
I don't have the clicking issue. If you replace HDD with SSD you will get almost 1h of extra battery life. The title of this clip sucks.
I've had this exact model for nearly 2 years and don't have your issues. Trackpad works fine on my lap or anywhere. You bought used, I bought new. Mine doesn't bend. Battery life is reasonable for a gaming machine. My only minor complaint is that the shiny surface wore down where I lay my wrists near the trackpad. Just wear and tear. Pro repair tech here. This is a "decent" budget gaming laptop. Definitely heavy, but that's expected for a gaming laptop. It sounds like you bought something inappropriate for your specific needs, tbh.
This computer is bad. I promise you. After a year or 2, this computer will start heating up. My personal one started to heat up to 200 F.
This is actually a really good laptop, better then quite a few i've seen, saying don't buy it, is not fair at all tbh. The camera is shit, and the sound on it is not great, but the cooling and noise is impressive for this price point, and it runs games well and has a good IPS screen on it. Which is all I care for, since I can use headphones anyway for the audio issue's.

I've been using this laptop for 3 years now … It's perfect … Only had to reapply thermal paste once after it fell from a 6 inch height when someone tried to rob me the CPU and the body remained perfect l perfect only screen got damaged the rest of the body remained solid . I noticed hot temperatures but not over heating after that incident so I reapplied thermal paste after 3 years. You cannot fault this build quality except you're throwing it from large heights (which actually happened to me and the body is still perfect ) it might not be razer unibody design but it's far above its paygrade for build

I have the 4K version. Never use it on my lap, cause it will block the bottom fan ventilation. Never have the trackpad issue. I do have an issue with the left shift key though. Perhaps you should check the battery…maybe the old thing expands and presses the trackpad a little bit from underneath…
I've used this laptop with a drawing tablet and second monitor for years. And it's amazing. I do agree the battery lacks, but that's the only main issue. I've never experienced trackpad issues, and when I was buying it I didn't see and reviews detailing your problems. Also please stop with the clickbait. It wasn't for you, because you werent really using it for it's intended purpose. Which is on desk gaming. You are judging it on its secondary purpose

A huge issue is in keyboard of this model, after a few months it just lost most frequently used keys like 2, w, s, x 🙁
Garbage. Don't buy any of Dell 5000 series (or any Dell at all? other than the super expensive XPS)
8GB of ram seems to be more than enough for games lnfo.help/dell-Inspiron?Ӗ like PUBG and TC's Rainbow Six Siege and it is definitely upgradable. On the subject of upgradeability, it is very easy to access the internals of this machine, with the entire back plate coming off with only one screw.

I already repasted and still tha package temp while idle is around 60 deg Celcius and about 90+ when gaming(huge FPS drop)
Everyone says his laptop has great thermals and yet mine gets an average of 85° + in even the lightest of games.
Wow,.. normally, I don't comment any videos at all. But this one was so bad, unbelieveable. The worst video about this Laptop ever. I have the same one since about 1.5 years now… I never experienced any of the problems you are pointing out EXCEPT a heat-problem, which you mentioned, is fine on this computer. The things you are saying are just wrong.
You should maybe stop making videos (at least about technical things) and do anything else. (not ment to be personal, but there are people outside, who just want facts, and these are not facts, but just some random, wrong statements.)
I thought this laptop was an amazing deal (got it on black friday special too). This laptop work perfectly for a whole year and then (conveniently) as the warranty expired, it deteriorated very quickly. Keyboard stopped working, battery life went down, constant blue screens, etc. It is clear that the people at dell have absolutely no idea how to make a computer. DO NOT BUY THIS DELL!
