After doing the change to W10 Enterprise for a couple of years I must say security is way better than W7 and well for dx12 support on games you are force to upgrade eventually. I always hated W10 Ultimate but later when I switch to Enterprise I had a better overall experience. You still force to update the OS as usual but stability, compatibility, security does pay off in the long run. Im use to reformat my PC when things doesn't work well but with W10 I never run into issues like older XP/Win7.

Even on the E7440, its bigger brother. You can't just slap any other 2.5" SATA drive. You have have a drive that's slimmer than 7.5mm or it won't fit.
I got my E7450 for the very same reason my Precision is just heavy. And these things can actually edit video and run GTA 5 at a playable frame rate.

Hmm… I wonder if windows 10 installed the wrong battery drivers which in turn made the laptop battery performace worse… Windows 7 is still the best operating system ever in my opinion though-Aside from XP. I run windows 7 on both my Dell Vostro 1520 and my Dell Latitude e6420.
