I have one and its horrible
It's exactly what I expected🎇>lnfo.help/-Dell?MEX except it has Bluetooth built in already, and it wasn't said to have it. Right on! It's as good as new, and the only down side for me is that it's a bit behind some of the games I'd like to play on it, and has no GPU to speak of at all. That said, I knew all that when I purchased it. It does everything I need it to do, just not all I'd like it to do. I'll scale up when the time comes. Thanks for the great buy!

I there,I have a dell latitude E5400.I was using it when suddenly my baby tap on it and the screen gone blank.Plz can u help?
I've had one of these laptops for a long time. One of my favorite models and brands. Couple of comments: the vid card is the best card available in this model – anyone interested in these laptops is advised to stay away from the 135M, though. They had major heat issues. That said, the 140m that you have is only 256MB of video ram (see the BIOS settings page). The "512 MB of shared video memory" means it's using an additional 256MB of your RAM to support video, which is kinda rough considering you only have 1GB of RAM. Also, running 4k would be pointless, even if this graphics card could manage it (highly unlikely), your screen can't support that resolution, and none of the connections have a transfer rate high enough to support it on an external monitor.
You could significantly improve the performance of your laptop by putting the correct type of RAM in. The front side bus speed on this model is only 800MHz, and cannot support the full speed of the RAM you're using. This model's original RAM is type PC2-5300S. It runs at 667 MHz. The 1066 you have installed is essentially throttled to 1/2 speed. I know this laptop can support up to 4GB (2x2GB sticks), and I've been told with the latest BIOS, it can even run more. However, I believe it would be difficult to locate 4GB sticks of RAM. I'm not sure what newer RAM would be compatible.
Lastly, consider using Nvidia Inspector and Throttle Stop to slightly overclock the laptop and improve the stock performance. Good luck.
