Dell Inspiron 5482 Review

Lisa Gade reviews the Dell Inspiron 5482, the late 2018 edition of Dell’s 14” midrange 5000 series convertible laptop with 360 degree hinges, active pen support and the latest Intel 8th gen Whiskey Lake Core i7-8565U quad core CPU. The laptop has a metal casing, full HD display supporting touch and N-Trig active pens, your choice of an HDD (with or without Intel Optane Memory) or an NVMe SSD and DDR4 2400MHz RAM. It’s upgrade friendly for do-it-yourself types with an M.2 SSD slot, 2.5” drive bay and two RAM slots. Pricing starts around $540, and our config with an i7, 256GB NVMe SSD and 8GB RAM sells for around $785.
