Hi, Can this laptop be charged via USB-C port? I am trying with my 24W dell charger and it will charge but when laptop is switched off. What charger should I use to charge it when system is running?
My laptop's (same model) warranty expired late last year and roughly after two years of infrequent use the battery swelled. I noticed the touchpad is lifted making it hard to click and it seems to be a common issue with Dell computers. A tingling sensation at times is felt upon touching the metal surface when the AC adapter is plugged so I stopped using it.
It's been just over 2 years since i bought this laptop and it died last week. I am able to turn it on but I see nothing on the screen. I've tried all sorts of solutions and troubleshooting steps but nothing works. It could be a ram problem, but if that is the case then it'll be difficult to get it replaced because the ram is soldered on to the board. It would be great if someone could help.
5 hours? this damn laptop doesnt even last 2 hours after 1 year of usage

The one i ordered is inspiron 13 7380 so a newer version so hopefully they fixed a few things that you wanted fixed.
Does keyboard have a mute button?
can someone please help, the adaptive brightness feature is missing, and my screen keeps auto dimming which is so annoying, anyway to stop auto dimming if adaptive brightness feature is missing?

I bought this laptop today and one thing you should mention is the use of it — the edge of the laptop where the palm sits is actually quite sharp and gets very painful very quickly…
I keep on saying WoW through out the review. That's how good this laptop with its price point.

i have the dell 13 7348 SE (i7 5500/256gb/ side firing speakers/pen friendly) its great aside slightly heavier. newer 1's has so so screen ,ok battery, plasticky sound & build. even w/quad core didn't make dell inspiron 13 2017/18 better just faster. Xmas 2016 gift $699. keep up the honest reviews. Thanks!
Is there a 16gb for this laptop?
I just bought mine, I have the i7, 16gb and 512gb PCie SSD. Personally it is a good laptop but not a great one. The battery life only lasts for like three to four hours on just doing simple tasks like web browsing, listening to music, watching videos on youtube and Netflix. Not to mention, the speakers are not okay for me. You're review on this device is precise. I requested for an exchange just because the battery stopped charging at 90% when plugged in. Plus, I am experiencing some white lines on the screen whenever I am using it. I don't know but there might be a possibility that the one that was given to me is a defect or something. I barely use it and it hasn't been a week since this laptop was delivered to me. So far, I am kind of a disappointed buyer.
P.S.
Which one would you recommend to buy Damir, XPS or 13 7000? If the second 13 7000 that will be given to me happens to have some issues again, I am having thoughts of switching to an XPS, would that be worth it? Thanks
